This weekend we will be having the last practices before the Thrill the World DC Event!

You can still learn the dance in one weekend, but you have to show up to the practices. The practices will be:

Friday @ 7 pm at Lafayette Square/Park (meet at H street & Vermont)
Saturday @ 2 & 5pm at Lafayette Square/Park (meet at H street & Vermont)
Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm @ Gold's Gym Ballston

Permitting is underway and everything is running smoothly! We should have the permit approved in no time, I'm 90% sure the event will be at Fredoom Plaza. We expect to have a GREAT turnout.

Unfortunately there was an event planned at the Ellipse the same time and date as Thrill the World, so the app has been submitted to have the event at Freedom Plaza. It's a good change, let's hope all goes to plan.

We have submitted our permit application and should soon receive a response. If all goes well the event will be held at The Ellipse! DC truly has a beautiful backdrop for events, our Zombies will have The White House as our backdrop, how much more amazing could it get!

Music legend Michael Jackson dies

Music legend Michael Jackson has died in Los Angeles, aged 50.

Paramedics were called to the singer’s Beverly Hills home at about midday on Thursday after he stopped breathing.

He was pronounced dead two hours later at the UCLA medical centre. Jackson’s brother, Jermaine, said he was believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest.

Jackson, who had a history of health problems, had been due to stage a series of comeback concerts in the UK, beginning on 13 July.

Speaking on behalf of the Jackson family, Jermaine said doctors had tried to resuscitate the star for more than an hour without success.
