About Thrill the World DC

Thrill The World is a worldwide attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Dance with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Thousands of people in cities around the world will learn the “Thriller” dance and perform it together on the day that Thrill the World takes place.

On Oct. 25, 2008, 4,179 people from 10 nations (Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Scotland, United States of America, and Wales) simultaneously performed The Thriller Dance as part of the Thrill The World event, organized by Ines Markeljevic of Canada.

This year we want to put Washington, DC on the map, not only are we participating, but we are also using this event to raise funds for the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Spinal Cord Research Foundation.
